The Saint Salts “The Unmarked Drop” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Veleon Group LLC, 2093 Philadelphia Pike #2638, Claymont, DE 19703 (“Sponsor”). Sponsor may be contacted at support@saintsalts.com. The Contest is administered solely by Sponsor.
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok, or TikTok Inc. By entering, each entrant completely releases Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., TikTok Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to Sponsor, not to Instagram or TikTok.
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. The following are not eligible to enter or win: (a) employees, officers, and members of Sponsor; (b) any individual engaged, contracted, or gifted product by Sponsor in connection with the Contest or with Saint Salts marketing (including seeded content creators and contractors) who received product, materials, or non-public information before or during the Contest Period; and (c) the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each person described in (a) or (b). Entry requires a valid, public Instagram or TikTok account created before the start of the Contest Period. The Contest is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law.
The Contest begins and ends on the dates announced by Sponsor on its official Instagram and TikTok accounts (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period runs for a limited time; the exact start and end dates and times, including the applicable time zone, will be stated in that announcement and reflected in these Official Rules before the Contest begins. Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s records and the applicable platform’s server-side timestamps are the official timekeeping for the Contest.
During the Contest Period, Sponsor will publish content on its official Instagram account (@thesaintsalts) and official TikTok account (@thesaintsalts) featuring an unlabeled Saint Salts product and a series of clues regarding its key ingredient (the “Secret Ingredient”). To compete, entrants must analyze the published clues and deduce the identity of the Secret Ingredient. Success in the Contest depends on each entrant’s analytical reasoning, deductive skill, attention to the published clues, and knowledge of ingredients used in the wellness and beauty category. The published clues, taken together, are designed and documented to objectively determine a single correct answer. The correct answer is objectively verifiable and has been recorded by Sponsor, together with the list of accepted answer formulations described in Section 6(a), in a written, dated internal document created prior to the start of the Contest Period.
By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
To enter, post one (1) public comment containing your answer identifying the Secret Ingredient on any official Contest post published by @thesaintsalts on Instagram or TikTok during the Contest Period. The comment must be posted from the entrant’s own personal account and must remain publicly visible and unedited through verification, except that where a comment is removed by platform action not attributable to the entrant, Sponsor’s preserved records of the comment and its timestamp will control. Comments edited or deleted by the entrant are ineligible (platform edit histories cannot reliably preserve original timestamps).
Entry is complete upon posting the comment. No registration, sign-up, purchase, payment, or other consideration is required or accepted. Joining Sponsor’s email list (“The Circle”) is optional, is not required to enter or win, and has no effect on the determination of Winners or Alternates.
Limit: one (1) entry per person across all platforms and accounts, for the duration of the Contest. An entrant’s entry is his or her first answer comment posted during the Contest Period, regardless of platform; any subsequent comments by the same person (including from other accounts) will be disregarded. Entries generated by script, bot, macro, or any automated means, and entries from duplicate, fake, or purchased accounts, are void.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized holder of the Instagram or TikTok account from which the comment was posted, and Sponsor may require identification sufficient to show that a potential Winner or Alternate is the authorized account holder. By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive license to display and reproduce his or her entry comment and handle in communications related to the Contest.
Winners and alternates will be determined solely on the basis of the following objective skill criteria, applied in this order. Winning depends solely on each entrant’s skill in deriving the correct answer from the published clues and on the chronological order of correct entries; the number of entries received does not alter these criteria.
(a) Accuracy. An answer is correct if its plain meaning identifies the Secret Ingredient itself — as opposed to a related but distinct material, a component, or a generic category — as verified against the correct answer and the list of accepted answer formulations recorded by Sponsor in a written, dated internal document created before the start of the Contest Period. Immaterial spelling deviations and singular/plural variations do not affect correctness. Comments listing multiple candidate ingredients are not correct. The full list of accepted formulations will be published on this page when the correct answer is publicly revealed following the end of the Contest Period.
(b) Chronological order. Among correct answers, priority is determined by the server-side timestamp of each answer comment as recorded by Instagram or TikTok, earliest first. Timestamps across the two platforms will be compared in a single unified chronology, in Eastern Time.
Winners. The first five (5) entrants whose answers satisfy Section 6(a), in the chronological order established under Section 6(b), and who meet all eligibility requirements, will be verified as potential winners (each a “Winner”). A maximum of five (5) Winners will be verified.
Alternates. The next two (2) earliest correct eligible entries following the fifth verified Winner, in the same chronological order, will be designated alternates (each an “Alternate”), in chronological order. A prize forfeited under Section 8 will be awarded to the next Alternate in order; if no Alternates remain, the prize will not be awarded. Alternates exist only if more than five (5) correct eligible entries were received during the Contest Period.
If fewer than five (5) entrants submit correct answers during the Contest Period, only those entrants who submitted correct answers will be eligible to win; the remaining prizes will not be awarded, and no Alternates will be designated. No random drawing, tiebreaker by lot, or other chance-based procedure will be used at any stage of the Contest, including in the designation of Alternates or in the event of unawarded prizes.
Verification and audit trail. Promptly after the close of the Contest Period, Sponsor will (i) capture and preserve screenshots and platform records of the correct answer comments and their timestamps, including those of all potential Winners and both Alternates (the first seven correct eligible entries, where they exist), (ii) verify each potential Winner’s and Alternate’s eligibility, and (iii) retain these records for a minimum of one (1) year following the end of the Contest. The chronological ranking of Winners and Alternates is fixed at this verification stage, before any notification is sent. In the event two or more correct comments display identical platform timestamps at the finest resolution available, priority will be determined by the order in which the comments appear in the applicable platform’s own comment record (platform-assigned sequence), as preserved in Sponsor’s records; this criterion is based on recorded platform data and involves no element of chance. All determinations of Sponsor regarding accuracy, timing, eligibility, and compliance with these Official Rules are final and binding, and will be made in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable law.
Five (5) prizes are available. Each Winner (or Alternate awarded a prize under Section 8) will receive: one (1) unit of the Saint Salts product featured in the Contest (Batch 001). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: USD $34.99. Total maximum ARV of all prizes: USD $174.95. Shipping within the United States (all 50 states and the District of Columbia) is included at no cost to the recipient.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. No substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Any federal, state, or local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the recipient. The stated prize is the only prize awarded in this Contest. Any discount codes, early-access communications, or other commercial offers that Sponsor may extend to its email subscribers generally — which are made available to all subscribers on identical terms, regardless of Contest participation or outcome — are marketing offers separate from this Contest, are not prizes, have no monetary value for purposes of these Official Rules, and are subject to their own terms.
This product is a dietary supplement. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Each potential Winner will be notified by direct message (“DM”) sent to the Instagram or TikTok account from which the winning comment was posted, on or about a date announced by Sponsor following the end of the Contest Period. On or about the same date, Sponsor will publicly announce on its official accounts that winner notifications have been sent, without identifying the recipients. To claim the prize, the potential Winner must respond to the DM within forty-eight (48) hours of the time it is sent, providing: (i) full legal name; (ii) confirmation of being 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States; (iii) a valid email address; and (iv) a valid shipping address within the United States. Sponsor may additionally require a potential Winner or Alternate to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and a liability and (where lawful) publicity release as a condition of receiving a prize; failure to return it within the claim period will be treated as a failure to respond.
If a potential Winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours, cannot be contacted, is found ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the next Alternate in the chronological order established under Section 6, who will be notified in the same manner and subject to the same forty-eight (48) hour response requirement. If no Alternates remain (or none were designated), the prize will not be awarded. At no point will any forfeited prize be awarded by drawing, lot, or any other chance-based method.
Entrants are responsible for configuring their account settings so that DMs from Sponsor can be received, and for checking their inbox, including message-request or filtered folders, following the end of the Contest Period. Sponsor is not responsible for undeliverable notifications caused by an entrant’s privacy settings, account deletion, message filtering, or platform malfunction. Prizes will be shipped to verified recipients within thirty (30) days of verification. The correct answer will be publicly revealed on Sponsor’s official accounts on or about a date announced by Sponsor following the end of the Contest Period.
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize each Winner or Alternate grants Sponsor the right to use his or her first name, last initial, social media handle, state of residence, and winning answer, in any media now known or hereafter developed, for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes related to this Contest or future Saint Salts promotions, worldwide and in perpetuity, without additional compensation. Sponsor may request written confirmation of this grant as part of the prize claim. Acceptance of a prize is not contingent on consent to publicity where such a condition is prohibited by applicable law.
Information submitted in connection with the Contest (including the entrant’s public handle, public comment, and any information provided to claim a prize) will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at saintsalts.com/privacy, solely to administer the Contest, verify eligibility, and deliver prizes. Joining Sponsor’s email list is optional and governed by the same Privacy Policy; declining or unsubscribing has no effect on an entry or a prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, uses automated means or multiple or fraudulent accounts, harasses other entrants or Sponsor’s representatives, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failure, platform action (including removal of Contest posts by Instagram or TikTok), or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, in which case Sponsor will, if feasible, determine Winners and Alternates based on eligible, non-suspect entries received before the impairment, applying the skill criteria in Section 6. These Official Rules may not be modified after the start of the Contest Period except where required by law. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and any Contest-related statement in social media captions, advertisements, or other materials, these Official Rules control. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing or posting of Contest materials or these Official Rules. If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize, including but not limited to: (a) technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any computer, network, hardware, or software, or platform outages; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the entry process; (c) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (d) injury or damage to persons or property, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s total liability to any entrant will not exceed the ARV of one prize, and the remedy for any claim is limited to actual out-of-pocket damages; in no event will any entrant be entitled to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or attorneys’ fees. Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any dispute arising out of or connected with the Contest or these Official Rules shall be resolved exclusively by the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, provided that an entrant may instead bring an individual claim in his or her local small claims court if the claim qualifies. All issues concerning these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to its conflict-of-laws rules.
